Thanks for reading this post.

I am fairly new to access but....

I need to figure out if it is at all possible to create an access database with a complete web based front end? Everything must be done within the browser. Also the clients using this may be on various platforms and have different browsers. They may not have MS Office installed etc etc.

I would require the database to be able to run queries, reports and publish graphs all within the browser. The possibility of exporting this data from the browser to an application such as Word or Excel would be useful also! :)

The database would be hosted on a server within a LAN/WAN environment.....

Am I dreaming that such a system is possible?

Thanks in advance for your help! and please let me know if you require more information.

Matt,

What exactly you mean when you write "create an access database" ?

You can make an application that uses web pages to display and modify data. The actual data can be stored in an Access table.

I don't call that an "access database" but rather a "web application that uses Access data".
