Hyperlink to Wordperfect/Word Doc.

I have a hyperlink in a form which is automatically filled in from a previous form field entry (directory structure and extension always remain the same).
The hyperlink works great, but opens up a second instance of WordPerfect 9.0 if the user already has WordPerfect 9.0 open.

It would be preferable to open the document in the current open instance of WP9.

Can Access have any control over this ? Or is this an issue with WordPerfect and Word ?

With Word, you can check via the word object in VBA if there is already a session of word running or not. I do not know if this is possible with WP though.
