I am having problems creatling hyperlink for multiple records. We have a website that has providers privileges and each is different because of name or deparment so in a query I had the system create the hyperlink address based on data fields.
IIf([DeptCode]="Midwives" Or [DeptCode]="Nurse Practitioners" Or [DeptCode]="Psychologist" Or [DeptCode]="Optometrists","http://jmcvmntapp05/sites/medicalaffairs/Privileges/ALLIED HEALTH COMPETENCIES/" & [DeptCode] & "/" & [LAST NAME] & ",%20" & [FIRST NAME] & "%20-%20" & [DeptCode] & ".pdf","http://jmcvmntapp05/sites/medicalaffairs/Privileges/" & [DeptCode] & "/" & [LAST NAME] & ",%20" & [FIRST NAME] & "%20-%20" & [DeptCode] & ".pdf")
Result http://jmcvmntapp05/sites/medicalaffairs/Privileges/Radiology/Alterman, Daniel - Radiology.pdf
But when I click nothing opens so I checked the Hyperlink box and on Edit option I see the address above show only in the text display field not in address.
I manually update the address for this one record and it works but I have another 858 records and I also will have new providers.
How can I create hyperlink but to show in the address field. Is there VBA code I could use or another way or am I missing something in the query...
I am attaching a copy of the screen.
