Hyperlinks on forms

I am needing to know if there is a way, you could bring up a scanned document in Access by Employee ID via link on a main form. The document would be saved on a shared drive. Any help/assistance is greatly appreciated

Just about anything is doable, but your question (or at least the details of what you describe) isn't clear to me. Document is where? What is the relationship between employee id and document? Folder path? File Name? You want to then create a copy on a share drive, or it is there already and you just want to cause Access to open it?

Or maybe you already have a hyperlink on a form, in which case you can use Application.FollowHyperlink, which is easier than using Shell, I think.

Yeah - do you want to view the document within the form, or let Windows open the image natively with the image viewer?
