I am stucked

I did a query which shows all record with 'Y' in a field.
I would like to have also a field with the total of all the records in this query.
The problem is that the field with 'Y' or 'N' is a text field.

Yes, I want to count the number of records!

create a total query, by clicking on the Σ icon which is on the toolbar. A Total row will be displayed in your query grid. On the 'Y' field click on the drop down arrow in your Total Row and select Count.
