I/O Error in Access Database

When I attempt to mount our Access database


“An unexpected error occurred - I/O Error 0”
Or
“An unexpected error occurred - I/O Error 6”


The data stored in the MS Access database becomes inaccessible. Please suggest what to do. How I recover my data.
