i only have an hour! need HELP!

I go into the references for the DB i created, under the code view, and try to check the microsoft DAO 3.6 thing so that my code will work properly!

it then says that there are naming problems and will not stay ticked!

THIS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM!


y is it doing this when it didn't when it was on my computer,

and how can i stop it so it works!

time is of the essence!

Try the 3.51 ... not sure tho why it would do that but mosttimes its cause its simply not there... so try 3.51... if its there... It just might help....

How about going back to your machine and copying the file to this machine?

I assume there isnt a "Missing" in from of the DAO 3.6?!!!!!

how can i get other ones on this other computer?

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\DAO (on my computer)

has DAO360.dll (or find it by searching)

Copy and paste it

Hopefully the DAO file has been corrupted and this way that will be corrected. If this doesnt work (it has for me once in the past) then i am totaly out of idea's appart from a total reinstall of the machine itself sorry.

Then either install it or copy/paste it... not sure if copy paste will work if it has never been installed....

Not sure how to install it eiter i usually leave that to the support ppl....
