Hi!

I'm trying to create an IIf statement which will produce a yes or no answer, what I want to say is:

=IIf(([Case Study Actual Grade]=”A”,[Audit Actual Grade]=”A”,[Exam Actual Grade]=”A”,[Project Actual Grade]=”A”),”Yes”,”No”)

but it keeps coming up with #name?

Can anyone assist me on this matter?

Thanks in advance

Do you want all A's to be able to get a yes?
If so try
=IIf(([Case Study Actual Grade]=”A” And [Audit Actual Grade]=”A” And [Exam Actual Grade]=”A” And [Project Actual Grade]=”A”),”Yes”,”No”)

If Any A can get a 'yes' replace 'And' with 'or'
I think this will work

Cheers for your assistance - however it is still coming up with #Name?

I have double checked all the names for relevant fields and I've checked the brackets and commas required, but it's still not working - I'm completely stumped.

You were correct in assuming that I want it to say "yes" if only all assignments have an A (sorry I should have said).

Any other ideas?

Where are you using the IIf statement? Are the field names available to that object
ie if it is on a form, are all those fields included in the recordset for the form?

All the fields I'm using for the IIf statement are contained within the same table and form. Which is why it's puzzling me so much.
