image data problem

i am trying to display the photo & some personal info of an employee on a web page when the user types in the employee name/id. the data is located in an access db. i have tried using access data pages but the gif pictures of the employee does not show up. how should i approach this? should i use a form? i tried with forms and the data shows up, within access, but not on a web page. please help...
