Hello,

I am sorry to post this as I did do an extensive search through the forums. I am looking for a way to link images to a form from an image folder I have created outside my database. As I said, I did do a search and there is a lot of information listed. For some reason, I understand non of it. I am a bit of a novice as my personal database is quite simple.

Below is a screen grab from my database showing how I want to link my images; how I want them to look. This image is taken from an old incarnation of my database when I thought I was linking images but in fact was storing them on my computer. Like I said, I am sorry to bring this up but all of the help is a little over my head, of someone would not mind telling me VERY simple steps to achieve what I want to do, I would be very appreciative.

I want to be able to have the pictures change for each record.

Take care,

Thaks but it is still not clear to me.

I have spent all morning trying to make this work but it is not happening.

Do I have to have a separet table and subform whenever I want to link pictures to my database? My current database is made up of one table that has all the information/fields I want to describe the contents of my videos. I was hoping to add fields to the table where I can link my pictures I want to link. Is this viable?

I am sorry if I am coming across dense, I am having no luck getting this to work. I have been trying a lot and nothing is happening.

Thanks!

Yes. For example, you can creat a folder which you put your pictures then in your database, put the pathfile which your database can refered to it.

Did you download the database? If so, doesn't it work when you try to add a picture in this database?

The subform in the example is there to allow you to zoom in and out. You can put the image on the main form, and a memo field in your table to store the image path.
