Hi every body...

i am looking to add built in pictures to my control how can i get it done?? is there a folder where microsoft stores the pictures so i can direct to them??

Thanks in advance:)

Nups:(

as known if you ever dealt with custom ribbons that Microsoft has pictures called image MSO which can be called within the XML, but what ia m trying to do is not to call the picture only finding the location (if any) and attach to control so i should have a wider selection than what the Built in wizard gives me !!

Bascially, you have to store the image and then retrieve it - limked is preferrable. So a query has to be constructed so the the explicit (full) file name can be established, this assumes that the image is dependent on data. I always store images independently of MS as I use pngs, gifs or jpgs. Bit map images are a poor quaility and an inefficent format, they can not be compressed and are bloated. I deal with images everyday.

my question is where can i get GOOD images like the MSO not to big size etc...., that's why i asked how to use the MSO images because it's a wide selection...

Look on the web there are much better images. MS does not have a monopoly on images.

The attachment are simple images

the attachment is not an image of something it's just colorful Buttons....no?

Now i am going back to my point..... the reason i suggest MSO is because the microsoft images are related to tasks, unlike a website collection which will just have some collection not binned to any category

I don't think artists would agree with you. Ifyou are blinked to there is only one way the MS way then go and search your drive for bitmaps. I have not seen one MS image I would get out of bed for.
