It should only be storing the one. How big of image did you embed? It just needs to be very, very small.

And run Compact and Repair to see if that helps.

I just ran a test. I

1. Created a very, very small WHITE bitmap (saved it as MONOCHROME BMP) in Windows PAINT.

2. Had my sample database which was 100Kb large with one form in it.

3. Added the image. It then was 108Kb.

Personally, I have been so hacked off with image handling since Access 1997, I have used dbpix and it is only with Access 2007 I'm started to look at the Picture although I have found nothing to replace dbpix.

Tippexing your screen is preferable to bitmaps.
