Can anyone tell me if it is possible, and how to import my 2003 database to 2007. I have a stock database with the local front and tables on the back end. If it is possible without losing any data. Any help appreciated.

Access 2007 can read Access 2003. Why not just use 2007 on the 2003 db?

Why do you want to make that change? There are very few good reasons to change the database to the 2007 format and many good reasons to leave it as mdb.

I would be quite happy to leave the database on 2003 but the company i work for have decided to change all systems to 2007. I have a huge amount of records on my database and will need to upgrade to 2007.

"Change all systems" means forced upgrade of existing working Access-applications? Or simply updating the office version installed? The former is insane, whereas the latter is a very normal course of things.

Will they also go through all already existing documents and spreadsheets, .doc and . xls, and save them as .docx and .xlsx? If not then why is Access singled out?
