Hi.

I am trying to import a FILTERED Excel spreasheet into an access table.

One of the columns has numerous blank cells, so I am using a 'non-blanks' filter to reduce it down to just the rows that contain info. These are the rows I want to import.

By using the DoCmd.TransferSpreadsheet ... etc, it works perfectly, but it still imports the blank rows as well.

Is there a way to import just the non-blanks ?

Better suggestion

instead of importing the spreadsheet directly,
attach the spreadsheet as a table, and then use a query to append the data to a prebuilt Access table.

works every time with control at the query/import time. . .

you shouldn't care whether the excel spreadsheet is filtered or not. . that is the spreadsheet users choice.
