I have still problems with the DB I posted a few weeks ago. Now I try to import everything into a new DB, but when I come to the form I receive the following error message:

"Record(s) can't be read; ro read permission on 'MsysModule' "

Tables and queries are imported, but then it goes wrong.

Thx in advance.

Sorry to sound negative but it looks as if your original databse is corrupted. I do not think you are going to get far until yopu get a bit more joy out of the original database. maybe repair will have some effect and there is also a decompile option. I do not know much about this. Perhaps some of the gurus out there can give more info/guidance

just a thought rather than importing into a new database have you tried exporting from the original.

If you do find a way or anybody else knows a way of recovering from this situation I would also be very interested. Had it happen to me and only recourse I had was revert to backup.

Because we can't solve this problem easily, I started to import the not corrupted tables and queries into an old version. We just have to update de forms and stuff.

This seemed to be the only solution that worked.

Thx anyway for your help. ;-)
