I'm designing a macro to perform a multitude of processing tasks. The first step involves importing a table from one MS Access database (which is password-protected at the database level) to another. When I reach the point where the macro is attempting to import the table, I get a password prompt. With me so far? No problem. I enter in the password. Unfortunately, when I check to see if the target database received the table there is nothing there. Zilch. Nada. When I remove the protection and redo the previous steps, the database is imported. Weird, huh?
Is this a limitation in Access? I wouldn't think it should matter if you supply the correct password but I could be wrong.
Any of you gurus out there have any clues as to why this may be happening?
Thanks!
