Hi All

Firstly let me thank you all for your assistance over the years and wish you all a Merry Christmas.

I found this code on this site and added it to a button which works well. When first run it imported all the fields and created a large table. As I didn't all the fields sent to me I ammended the table in design view deleting the fields I did not require.
When I next ran the module I get the error that fields are missing.
Is there a way to change the code so that it will run and only insert data in the fields left in table.

No, this is a wrapper for standard Windows API calls, and you do not want to mess with it.

Your two options, as I see it, are to use the TransferDatabase method to import your data from Excel, or to use the code you already have to import the data into the big table, and then use DAO to modify your table to delete the fields you don't need.

Perhaps the sample DB posted in this thread will give you some pointers.
