importing text file from web (1 Viewer)

i'm trying to import a text file from a website using docmd.transfertext, i tried entering the full url for the path but this did not work:

DoCmd.TransferText acImportDelim, "FedACHdir Import Specification", "FedACHdir", _
"https://www.fededirectory.frb.org/FedACHdir.txt", False

any ideas?

Does it work if you save the file on you C:\ first? If so, the problem might be the communication with your internet browser.

I don´t know what you want to do, but if you can´t do the downloading manually, maybe you can use some other method for communicating with the browser.

I´m using sendkeys, but then again I´m not 100% satisfied with that.
