Including Parameter in Report...

Hello all,

I have a report that runs off a paramater based query. The parameter is a date range. The query has Between [Starting Date] and [Finishing Date] as a filter. I would like to know if there is a way to have the paramaters the user manually inputs when he/she runs the report show up in the report?

Thanks,

Andy

Andy,

I always use a Dialog box for reports. The Dialog box allows
the user to specify a date range (or whatever). The query
that drives the report uses:

Code:
Between Forms![DialogBox]![StartDate] And Forms![DialogBox]![EndDate]

Any headings, etc. can use the same syntax to display them.

A little confused by that...

O.k. so i want to do that because it seems to make sense. However I want to make sure that I understand it before I proceed. You are saying that I should create a form that runs the report based on dates you put into a dialog box. Then I can also pull the same dialog box to put into the report right?

I'm going to try that anyway. Tell me if thats not what you meant.

Thank you very much.

Cheers,

Andy
