Hello, all,

I built a form yesterday that has extended text, and within one of those paragraphs, a piece of inline data. The GOOD news is the data is inserting just fine; the BAD news is that although the data is declared currency from the source field, this inline version inisists on showing a number with greater precision than two digits right of the decimal (See "Screen1.jpg").

The design view of this same graf is found in a second attachment, "Screen2.jpg."

There has to be a more typeful way to reference this data inline that will get it to format properly. Can anyone help me out with this? I know there has to be a Format statement that I can wrap around this expression to force the appearance of currency, but I can't come up with the syntax. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Try using the expression:

Format([Forms!frmMain]![MaxMatch],".00")

Or:

Round([Forms!frmMain]![MaxMatch],2)

(the currency symbol can go in the appropriate place in the textual parts of the expression.

Actually, this should work:

Format([Forms!frmMain]![MaxMatch],"Currency")

Mike and Bob,

THANK you for your replies. I will try these when I am in the office tomorrow. I appreciate your replies!
