Input Form

I would like to have a form which inputs a date into one of my tables. My table consists of File Numbers and Section Names and looks like;


FILE # SECTION NAME DATE

1234 Doors Jan 5, 2003
1234 Windows Jan 8, 2003
1234 Stairs Feb 6, 2003
5678 Chairs Jan 3, 2003
5678 Tables Jan 23, 2003
etc.....

I need the form to first find the right File #, then fnd the right Section Name so i can input the Date into the right Row. Is this possible? i don't know much about ACCESS.
