Insert web page in a report

Hi,

I was wondering if it is possible to insert a web page in an Access report. The situation is following: I have a film collection database that contains title of the movie, main actors, year and a link to the movie site. Would it be possible to create such a report that would show the title of the movie and all the other details about it and at the bottom half of the report it would have an embedded web broser that would display the movie website?

How many databases are you building?

Here you are building one for a film collection while on this thread you say that you are making one for financial analysis.

Fair enough, but it seems that you are jumping in at the deep end as you also posted that you were a complete newbie to Access and database theory on this thread.

Anyway, the short answer is yes you can have a webpage on a form (I don't know about a report) but you will need to learn how to program the Web Browser ActiveX control and I've never seen any documentation on it.

Actually i'm doing all of the things you mentioned. I have already built the film database, only feature i would like to add to it is the report i'm talking about.

The financial analysis database i have to build in my job.

And yes i consider myself newbie in databases and access because the film database i build was very easy one So i'm certain that i need to learn more to build the financial analysis database.

One question to you are you ruusian or my web browser just displays your location in this language?

Could you maybe help me out with the thread that you renamed to condition based data entry. At this point of time i just want to know whether it is possible or not, I'll find the answer myself!

Basically what i want to know is how powerful is access, can you do anything with it?
