Install Help File

Can anyone help me. Why when I install MS Office XP Professional, the help file cannot be use.

I try 2 time uninstall then install again and I try to use help file but cannot use.

Go to Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs, Select Office XP Professional and Click on Add/Remove. Now click on Add/Remove features and select the program you'd like the help files for. Check the Help file and click update now.

Pat Hartman often comments that in each version of Access the help files get worse and worse. Now no help file at all ! Interesting move Microsoft

In Office 2k there is a bug that prevents some of the help files being displayed. I needed to install some service packs to correct this. Could this be the same in XP?

I am using XP and don't have that particular problem so I would say to install any pending fixes and then worry about it.

Oldsoftboss, I think Microsoft's position is going to be that if they don't give us help files at all, we won't have anything to complain about

Pat, and maybe when we do have a problem we ring them and pay $5.00 / min to get the same vauge help the help files currently give us. Thank heavens for these forums.
