Every now and again (for no apparant reason) a record in my table becomes corrupted (the fields all change to #Error, Error etc) Also, the relationship between that and another table breaks and when I try to go into the forms I get the "Invalid Argumnent" message

I am running Win XP Pro, with Office 2003 accross a network, with a FE/BE split

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

Andy

Do you have Name AutoCorrect turned off? How about Compact on Close turned on?

Compact on Close is turned on, dont understand the other question!

Tools>Options General Tab (same one where 'Compact on Close' is located). On the right side of that tab is 'Name AutoCorrect'. Uncheck all of the boxes there. That particular "Feature" is responsible for many corruptions. You may have to go so far as to import all of your objects into a fresh db to clear the problem. Backup first. You could try 'decompile'.
