I have an access 97 database running on an NT4 terminal service server, over the past few weeks I have been getting corruptions within the database and it is giving me the error of Invalid Bookmark.
I keep correcting this and the problem seems to re-occur, I have imported and exported the database through SQL 2000 server to reindex the whole database as this is where I thought the problem lay. Unfortunately due to contracts etc we cannot host the database on SQL yet and need to continue using access 97 for the near future.
Unfortunatley the problem re-appeared yesterday and we lost some data.
I looked on the Microsoft website and it suggested that this was caused by the network and/or server.
I have also looked at upgrading the Jet engine.
My question is : how much of a difference would upgrading the Jet engine make and is there anything on our server that we could look at.
Thank you for your help
