Recently Access has been driving me to drink.

I'm getting a "user has exited MS Access with a DB open" message but this is not the case. I've heard rumours that installing Service Pack 1a for Office 2000 fixes this but can someone please confirm or deny before I go installing it on 25 PCs this weekend?!

I'm also looking at importing all objects to a new database just to be sure.

Database is not split for practicality reasons.
Size is around 20Mb and has 25 users with full security.

Have you tried a Compact and Repair on the database. Also, What is the exact error message you are getting?

Still waiting for it to happen again. I'm also going to look at the powersave feature on some users PCs
