Is there a limit to the # of fields in a form?

Is there a limit to the number of fields in a form in access 2000? and if so does anyone know what that may be. I have a large survey (228 questions) that i want to put into an Access D-base and wanted to make a single form to enter all of the info, If need be i can use multiple forms and have a command button (Next sheet), but would like to avoid that.

I am also running into a prob with having too many Combo Boxes in a single table (over 200)? any ideas?

I will try doing this in excel, (wonders if excel can set up default answers (combo boxes) so as not to get nonvalid info)
