Is there a way to find if a word is in several Word.docs (1 Viewer)

I have about 30 Word.docs that are all similar. The letters are comparisons between insurance companies version of a type of policy.

Sometimes I need to change just one word but that word is not in all of the dcouments. Actually, I need to change more than the "word" but I need to find which .docs have the word.

Is there some type of loop through system.

if you go to windows explorer and select search from the menu
then select documents (word processing,spreadsheet etc) then select use advanced search options then enter yourd word in the box 'a word or phrase in the document' then select where to search in 'lookin'

you will see a list of documents with the word contained in it somewhere

Thanks for the idea. I could not find Search in Explorer so went to Search from start button.

I could not get that to search a specific folder on C:\ so it took a while but found them Actually does not matter that it took a bit of time, just did something else while it found them.

I found it in Explorer and you can specify the folder by just clicking on the folder before you go to Search.
