i am doing a newspaper delivery system, currently focusing on the overdue payment section. I have been thinking a lot about it, and the only way i can thnk of solving the problem of recording the overdue items date due/price/customers name, is a sort of logging system. It goes like this:

If the 'Paid' tick box is left unchecked then when the the time comes for another delivery (delivery date= todays date) the previous order will somehow be saved, and maked as 'overdue'.

This would build up, with the user able to uncheck the 'overdue' parameter/ or delete the logged overdue entry one it had been paid.

The saving of the overdue information (date due, item name, customer name, amout due) would not occur if the 'Paid' tick box was selected before the delivery date=todays date, at which point it would then reset.

I dont know how it will be saved, but it would be temporary and changing. the overdue thing would be a stamp, that goes down on the customers overdue report until cleared.

Is this possible? Is there a better (and easier) way to do this? I am a novice so any guidence would be greatly appreciated.
