Hi,
I am no expert on religion or geo-politics or economics.
I am not a student of history. May I know your view about USA entering the war, is it good or bad for USA.

Trump the Master of Puppet and Israel is his puppet.

On the very first day of this war, we can see how Trump warned the
people of Iran of the attack. He also warned them to evacuate Iran
and called for the Surrender of Iran. Whose war is it? He knows
that the Iranian are not serious on halting their nuclear proliferation, so
he stirred the old conflict between the two countries and made a promise
to watch the back of Israel.

Obama and Biden pursued a policy of appeasement towards Iran. They even went so far as providing Iran with cash and not enforcing sanctions against Iran. The nuclear agreement reached by Obama was a joke, it guaranteed that Iran would be able to construct a nuclear device and allowed Iran to continue developing ballistic missiles. (Those demonstrated policies of appeasement may have led Iran to believe that the US was nothing more than a blustering (to borrow a term from Mao Zedong) paper tiger. So they could do what they wanted with impunity.)

Consider this, the rulers of Iran have been hysterically screaming "Death to Israel and death to the US" for approximately 50 years. Iran has been supporting terrorists such as Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis. At a certain point, you have to take action. Sure diplomacy should be the first step, but Iran has not been serious towards achieving a diplomatic solution. Given Iran's refusal to negotiate, time was up.

We have heard from multiple sources that there is a movement within Iran to overthrow a harsh and unyielding regime. Taking out the nuclear option is very risky because of what it can provoke. We can easily stop their "big guns" (if they have anything big left to commit to combat) but the small terror groups are a LOT harder to stop. We should have learned this lesson our engagements in Vietnam and Afghanistan. Guerilla tactics and sleeper cells are difficult to find, which is WHY they are harder to stop.

I'm very cautiously optimistic that
1) Iran's reaction isn't too drastic
2) It slows their nuclear weapon capability significantly
3) It didn't hurt a lot of people nor necessarily bring us into a full scale war as long as Iran's reaction isn't too drastic,

I guess I am stating the obvious here, but that's my thought. Very cautiously optimistic. It depends a lot on what Israel does/continues to do, which is, increasingly, unpredictable - that's not a good thing.

If they treat Iran as they treated Gaza, we are in for a huge world war. If they can convince themselves to exercise restraint, that will be preferable.

It sounds good, but which parties are you thinking need a re-think?
It was a snide remark. Some folks think is the US getting Isreal to do our bidding, others think its the other way around

A rabbit hole I refuse to go down. Folks to not want to change their minds on anything so I won't even engage.

But every now and then I see something on here and my fingers get turrets

I'm doing stretching exercises, trying to prevent whiplash :p

Ahh, yes, the whole Israel question I am very ambivalent on - I'm not sure what to think any more
Me either, everytime I'm SURE I know something, like this last election, I get shown that I'm not as savvy as I think I am.

Probably why I drink fine scotch...

It's a sad day and Uncle G is correcting grammar!

I would never correct anyone's grammar, except of course if I can inject some humor!

I think that people who are sticklers for punctuation and grammar, miss the most important thing, communication is paramount! Init!
