issue with Deleting data in the file

Hi Team,

I have created a access file, table in the file and loaded data using dts package. The size of the file was 22MB.

i wanted to load data again so i deleted the existing data in the table manually but the size of the file didn't reduced it is still showing 22 MB.

any suggestions will be of great help!

Try compact and repair.

and also i want to delete it using a DTS package wht i want trying is SQL Task with
command Delete from tablename

i got the solution, but still wondering how to achieve the compact and repair option using DTS package.. !!?
