I have a field that I don't want users to access once there is something in it.
They have to enter the date at which they believe they can start and end their jobs. Once the date is entered, I don't want it to be modified. So the managers will know who has a good planification skill.
The problem is that I have to leave the F11 available to some of them.
I can't make the table unavailable since they have to enter the date the first time.
I think that it is impossible, but before I say that to my client I just want to make sure. Don't want someone else to do it after I say that it can't be done.

Newman,

In some event, probably OnCurrent, do this:
If IsDate(YourTextbox) Then
YourTextbox.Locked = True
Else
YourTextbox.Locked = False.
End If

I don't know what you mean about "F11".

F11: The form where is listed all the tables, forms, reports, queries,...
I don't know the english name of it. I said F11 cause it is the key to open it.
