I am trying to create a form in Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0. I have very little experience with JavaScript and am having difficulty figuring some things out. I have been able to add buttons to the bottom of the form that will force the user to fill in all required fields before sending the form via e-mail, only to discover that the user can bypass the buttons and use file commands instead. I know in Microsoft Access, I can use Visual Basic code to hide the menu toolbar and I was wondering if there is JavaScript to do the same thing in Adobe. The people using the form will be accessing it with Adobe Reader version 9.0. Any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I have tried other forums specifically for Adobe, but have not found any as user friendly as this one.
