Not so much time sheets. I use a flexgrid for timesheet input that works quite well. It's more creating a job from a current project. An example being-
I have a project that has 3 line items
Display units build
Management
Installation
I would need to create a job card for display units build that splits the job into categories-
Unit manufacture
Cnc work
Spraying
Wrapping
Each category would need a person assigned to it and hours allowed to complete the task. This can then be marked as complete after. I would create a work in progress from this to give me a list of jobs pending, jobs working and jobs complete. It would also show who is available and who isn't.
I was just looking for a basis. I know what idea I have but it's sometimes harder to get it a working model so to speak
I'm all ok with subforms now a few years ago I was new to Access but with constant work with it, it is now a lot easier. There are still grey areas as with any system but overall, I find myself helping on here now more than asking
I would suggest googling "job order" with ms access. In the labor world (construction, manufacturing, etc...), what you're calling a "job card" sounds more or less than I job order request.
