I hated Paradox for Windows and it put me off database work for several years.
You're right that the syntax was odd but that wasn't what I was alluding to.
Nor did I mean WITH OWNERACCESS OPTION
In version 1.0 you could see both SQL view and query design view simultaneously.
Not sure when that feature was lost but it would be useful to have it back.
Having said that I didn't try altering the query design or SQL whilst both windows were open. No idea whether they would remain in sync.
