Keeping sub reports visible with no data

I want to keep sub reports visible on the
main report when there is no data behind it.
I have tried using the HasData property in the print event of the detail section of the
main report. I can get it to respond to message boxes, but still can't make the sub
report visible. Thanks for any help!

This person had a perfectly valid question and no one ever answered it! Now I find myself with the same question. Anyone want to shed some light on this subject?
