Has anybody else ran into this error? I did a quick search of the forum and didn't see any threads. If somebody has dealt with this did you come up with any way to avoid it in the future? It makes me a little nervous that a user could delete a record and then I could compact the database and all of the sudden my table is corrupted. Any ideas as to how to avoid?

I read the article but could not see anything relating to corruption?
Where did you get the idea that compacting after a delete would corrupt?

In any case it would be more sensible to only compact the database when there are no other users connected.
