I have a database that stores employee information.
AC97 database on Win 98.

One of the fields is a picture. It's a Bound Object frame.

Now I'm having problem "Inserting Object" from any Windows XP running AC97.

Is this because WinXP might be interpeting the .jpg different then Win98?

When I attempt to insert an picture from a WinXP is only puts the NAME of the jpg. not the image as it usually does under windows 98.

Agian, all machines are Running AC97 only.

No one has seen this huh?
or Anything close to this perhaps?

I have an AC97 on a Win XP Home that does .JPG pictures from a database. The trick for me was to realize that I didn't need a bound object frame for the picture. What I wanted was the correct path & file name in the DB table and, on Form_Current, I took the file spec and loaded it to the UNBOUND image control's PICTURE property.

For me, works like a champ.

I think you get to choose whether you want a path, object, icon, or folder. But like Doc_man says there is no point using a Bound Object frame, the picture control can handle it.
