When I create a label box to try and enter the above information I am having many problems.
If I depress the enter key, to try and enter the next line, Access takes me out of the label box? I tried entering spaces to move me to the next line, but that caused all kinds of alignment issues. As you can see from this example I find it very difficult to create a properly aligned table in a report which allows the user to merely check off manually if an item was received from us and on what visit 1, 2 or 3rd visit.
Help and ideas much appreciated.

This is very confusing. Reports are used to 'report' on data stored in 1 or more tables.I assume you want to produce a blank form for manually checking? If so there are much easier ways to do this Word, Excel etc.

To do this on an Access 'report';
Just use 1 label for each item you want to display on the 'report'. you can move and align them very quickly and easily. have look at the attached.

fp.jpgIsskint,
Thank you for your suggestion, I will see if it acceptable to the users.
Actually, this example was just a section of a form that took data from a table and used the section I displayed to record food usage for the following 3 weeks. Sorry for the confusion, I just wanted to simplfy the the description of the problem area.

I was creating a large label box and the trying to duplicate a gird on the form I was trying to automate. Is it possible to make a grid with columns like the one I tried to show?
Thank you again, I can't tell you how much I appreciate the input. I am self taught in Access 2010 and the not familiar with what is possible and what is not.

Thanks

Jim

The closest you can get would be to put borders around each label/control and align them so that the right border touches the left border of the control to its right and the bottom border touches the top border of the control below etc. Have a look at the attached

Another 'option' would be to take a screen print of your current form, save it and use it as the source for an Image Control on a blank report. you would need to play about with the size to get it to fit the report page.

Or you could make your labels with no border at all and put a black frame around them.
