Labels and lines don't show up on report

Hello, I'm currently trying to add some lines to a form just to visually separate various elements. Unfortunately, they just don't show up when I run the report even though they're very clearly there in the design view. The same thing happened with all of my field labels (although I fixed that by replacing all labels with text boxes [inelegant, I know]).

Any thoughts on how to correct this? I checked the "visible" property field on all of the elements, and it is indeed set to true.

This is a guess, but are the lines and labels that are visible in design but not visible in preview/print all in the same section (same header, footer, etc.)? If so, I'm guessing that while all the controls may be set to Visible=Yes, the entire section may be set to Visible=No. The section setting overrides the control setting.

Beyond that, I've never encountered the issue you are having.
