LDAP -- as a linked table?

I'm not sure what you mean by "as a linked table"... but for a somewhat decent tutorial on how to use LDAP with ADO, please see my post here:

I don't think you'd want this as a linked table. First of all LDAP is a protocol.. it stands for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol... it isn't really a table. Second, the information/data that you're accessing is housed on a server. If you "linked" to it, that's a lot of bandwidth crossing back and forth. It's best to download the information into a recordset ... do whatever you need to do on the clientside and if needed, update the info to the server.
