Life at the end of a button

I'm rather excited to be getting one of these in the next few days:

Not sure if any of you guys have come across this product before, but it is called a Stream Deck. Its original purpose was for Twitch streamers and the like, to assist them during live streams. However, it is being repurposed for all sorts of things.

Ultimately, it is a macro button on steroids. You can set each button to link to a task or series of tasks. For example, if I wanted to login to my investment account, I could just hit the button and have it login and go to a specific page. Or, if you want to video Skype a specific person, have a hot button all set up. Whack it and it starts dialling. I have a big list of things I want to attach to those customisable buttons and look forward to getting started! Happy Christmas to me!

@sonic8 show-cased this gadget (sort of) on his site a couple of days ago. Seems like a must have for those who do a lot of multi-media work.
