Hi im not that good at this and have been asked to make another line on our address labels. One of our former colleagues made an access programme to store addresses and print them to a label maker. We are finding that addresses with a long second line or a third line wont print the full address.
This is the query that has been created, is there a way that I can make it so that It will make the words are smaller if the full address won't print on one label or make it so that It will add another line if it has a long address line 1?
Trim(IIf([AddressLine2] Is Null,[AddressLine1],[AddressLine1] & ", " & [AddressLine2]))
Street: Trim(IIf([AddressLine2] Is Null,[AddressLine1],IIf([AddressLine1] Is Null,[AddressLine2],[AddressLine1] & ", " & [AddressLine2])))
TownCounty: Trim(IIf([Town] Is Null,[County],IIf([County] Is Null,[Town],[Town] & ", " & [County])))
PostCode
I think its based upon the printer it self but it was worth asking.
Thanks
Sarah
