link files to database records

Hi,

i am trying to have an inventory control system. in my table i will have inventory item with its fields such as product name and s/n ... i need to scan and attach the scanned document(s) to be attached to the record! is it possible in access and vba?

If anyone have sample databse that can help or articals or anything i would really appreciate it.

You can create a field on your table called and define it as an OLE Object. you can then r-click on the field and embed the scanned document to the record.
