Oh how to explain this... so if someone could have a look at my db here, I'd be rather thankful...

in frmEditCompany, there are a series of tabs.

The first Tab houses the sfrmCustomers - just a table of all the customers. I'm hoping it's possible for the user to be able to click on a record (company) and the master form "selected company" [CompanyID] updates. All without upsetting the ability to select a company from the combo box in tab 2.

If anyone out there could take a snifter at this and help me out, 'twould be wonderful!

Try this out and see if it is what you are trying to do. I may have misunderstood.

Cheers... that's the right track... but can it be done so that when you select it the data in the second tab (Company Details) reflects the company just selected AND still lets you change the selection in cboCompanyName.

(Basically so you can change the current company on both tabs)

Many thanks! :D

I think this should work. I put code in the on enter in your continuous form to put the text in the upper field. I put the same idea towards the got focus event on your single form field.

Ahh, I see... however, when you select a company from the list and switch to the second tab, the company you have just selected is "lost" somehow and reverts to whatever is on the second.

Essentially I would like to be able to select a company form the first tab - go to the second tab and see the details for the company I have just selected... but still have the option of selecting a new company from the combo box on the second tab.

Perhaps that's not possible... :(

Many thanks for your efforts, though!
