Hi there,
I have been working on this database day and night and at the end I noticed one problem and can't find any solution.
So, my database has main form (list of all schools in BC) and 8 others dataentry forms. When I select any school from my main form I open other forms to enter data for that school and so on. The common name for my forms is IDschool and default value for this field is =[forms]![Main]![ID] (ID is enter on name field on my main form) We collect certain data once a year and produce an annual report. On my first dataentry form I have a date field. I am not sure how to use this field to associate data from other forms with this date to be able to distinguish data from 2001 and 2002 and so on. I am trying to avoid having the date field on each form and enter the date on each of them. What is the best solution for this problem and how? Very thankful in advance.
