Linked Tables not linking

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me. I'm very frustrated I have a database that I didn't create and the links aren't working on other users pc's but they are on mine. There are 9 links to various databases. 8 out of 9 work on my laptop. The 2 important ones don't work for other users. If I log on to another pc then the 2 important links don't work but all others work including the one that didn't work on my laptop.

I relaly don't understand this, the only thing I can think of is to go on every users pc and restore links but I know I shouldn't have to do that.

Has anyone got any suggestions?

Are you using the UNC path and not a fixed drive path?

\\Server\Partition\database.mdb

NOT

X:\Files\database.mdb

Do the users have full access to where the backend is located?
Do the users have permission to access those tables?

Hello thanks for your reply. The users have full access to all databases involved and they are all on the same shared drive (server). The tables have been linked by right mouse clicking in the background and tehn looking for that database and then for the particular table to link to

I got it working for everyone now by logging on to another pc using my username so the problem has been with my laptop which has the following extra functions.

I don't have to answer all teh questions about unblock safe expressions on opening a database

I have admin rights on my laptop and no one else has this facility

I do my own autoatic updates where everyone elses are generated by our helpdesk automatically.

It seems my laptop has caused the problem but am curious as to why
