linking combo box to tab controls

Just because you have 13 tables doesn't mean you need 13 forms. Your data dictates what tables you need and how the data should be presented. It doesn't matter about how many tables you have, what matters is how well your tables are designed and how well linked they are. Everything else is secondary.

the tables refer to different categories and are not related to each other. The point is to carry out independent analyses of them at some point. Right now, they are very normalised.
Can I ask would you create a form having upto 20 tabs on it? Is that a good design strategy?

Every problem is dealt with on a case by case basis and what the client needs. If there's need for 20 tabs then yes. These days tabs are being replaced by the ribbon.

Good morning. Thanks for that vbaInet. Will I be able to use this Form for more tables then, even though I created it as a single-table form? If yes what attribute should I change for this?

If the design requires then yes. If you want some help with layout and designing your form it would be a good idea to create a new thread for this.
