Linking Fields

i have fields in a form and i want them to automatically populate the costs and the discounts when a product is selected. the costs are stored in another table

nothing seems to works

it seems simple

but i cant do it

help

An identical question to this was posted very recently and answered as eloquently as ever by Pat Hartman, if you search the forum for posts by the member concerned you should find it, I don't have the link sorry.

Have you looked at the MS sample databases --Northwinds.mdb or Orders.mdb? I think that the form called Orders might be what you're looking for.
