Hello,

I am a very new user of Access 2000 trying to do what seem to me to be big things. Here is my current dilemma: I am working with a form and several subforms I have set up on tab controls (just using drag and drop method) and would like to have a continuous tab order that starts on the first tab (main form) and proceeds through subsequent tabs (subforms). Is this possible??? I have searched through the past 30 days' posts that might be related to this matter but could not find anything that I thought relevant to my question--hopefully this means I am not duplicating a previous request...

Cheers,
Elaine

I'm sorry but I don't understand what it is you want to do. I understand the tab control and subforms but I don't know what you mean by "...continuous tab order...".

The 'Main Form' is the form that the tab control resides on. The subforms would be on however many tabs you have on the tab control.

Sorry for not being clear--what I mean by continuous tab order is this: when someone is entering data into the form and subforms (which all reside on a shared tab control), I want them to be able to manually tab (i.e., use the tab button) to go from field to field. Therefore, when someone starts out entering data on the main form and is using the tab key to move from one field to another, I want them to also be able to use the tab key to move from the last field on the main form to the first field on the first subform, and then again to be able to move from the last field on the first subform to the first field on the second subform using the tab key, and to repeat this process through each of the subforms. Is there a way to make this happen???

Cheers,
Elaine
